Vayacog

Vayacog is an orally administered prescription medical food for the clinical dietary management of certain lipid imbalances associated with early memory impairment. Vayacog contains Lipicogen™, a proprietary composition containing phosphatidylserine - omega 3. DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid ) enriched, which was developed by VAYA Pharma (division of Enzymotec LTD), a specialty pharmaceutical company. The VAYA Pharma portfolio addresses three therapeutic segments: ADHD (Vayarin), Hypertriglyceridemia (Vayarol ) and early memory impairment (Vayacog).Vayacog is regulated by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration under the Orphan Drug Act and is intended for the distinct nutritional requirements of elderly with early memory impairment. The recommended dose is one capsule a day or as directed by a physician.
